Hemp is more absorbant than sherpa, but I have had good luck with my sherpa snap-ins from LHC very absorbant!. Maybe try again tonight, maybe it was a fluke last night? I'm sorry they aren't working out for you!

Hemp definitely absorbs more, but even so, DS gets wet on the outside of his hemp PW almost everytime he wears it. He's a heavy wetter at night! IME sherpa doesn't work for DS at night, so we use it during the day cuz it's so soft!

I guess I'm in the minority here... I love my sherpa dipes! All of my night dipes are sherpa... not hemp. Corey is a superdupersoaker and they work great for him.

If they were new dipes and you only washed them once, you may find they become more absorbent after subsequent washings.

Here is my scale of absorbancy from least absorbant to most: sherpa, OV, hemp. I use sherpa only for daytime, and save all my hemp for night. JMO, of course, I see that there are some staunch sherpa lovers out there!!
