Question is DS not so AP friendly?

im noticing lots of pro-vax threads and not so much info on BFing, babywearing and co-sleeping.
i would think that if you CD you'd be doing everything else too? am i wrong?
im not starting a debate here, what we all do is up to ourselves, im just curious

What I like about DS is that it's not extreme one way or the other. We are a wonderful diverse group of woman who all care about our kids in ways we all believe to be the best.

Plus, what could be better than a group of cding woman

I think everyone has a right to post the threads they want on the topics they want (so long as it's not offensive). Everyone has different views and is entitled to their own opinions and choices. Just because you don't breastfeed or you vax doesn't mean you aren't an AP parent. It's called Attached Parenting meaning you are attached to your child ~ different people have different views on what that means. I do not think a person should be banned from posting their opinions because another person is against it or feels it is not "AP style". BTW this board is called Diaper Swappers not Attached Parenting (meaning it would be wrong to post threads on pro sposies).

Re: is DS not so AP friendly?

By definition, AP is breastfeeding, babywearing, co-sleeping and gentle disipline. So yes, if you don't breastfeed you are not in fact AP. And yes, if you circumcise or vaccinate you are still AP. Not circumcising, not vaccinating and using cloth diapers are things that *some* AP parents do but they are not part of the actual definition of AP. Just like eating organic isn't etc. etc.

The answer to the original question is yes, DS is friendly to AP parents, but no it is not an AP site.
