I posted yesterday in TTC, we found out yesterday that we are expecting out 4th!
We've always wanted a large family of between 5 and 7 children so we are more than thrilled!! We haven't told ANYONE IRL yet. Except tonight at church I told my best friend. But why? OH WHY! Did my children have to act SO out of control today?! They do not usually act out like this. My 5 yr old ds is a little obnoxious and I have to often tell him to settle down and relax, but tonight was unheard of. Both of my older children would not stop dangling/pulling/twisting on my dh's and my arms, jumping around, squeeling, picking each other up, trying to pick me up, NOT LISTENING TO US, in line.... at church... while all the other children stood in line talking or playing hand games like paper, scissors, rock etc. Our 18mo old wanted our attention and would scream when I was trying to get the other 2 under control. Etc, etc. etc.!!! I AM SO GLAD we did not tell anyone yet. CAN YOU IMAGINE?? Everyone must think we can't handle the ones we already have. And I just feel so embarassed tonight. Sometimes things are going GREAT and I'm like, "Easy Peasy, bring'em on! I'd love 3 or 4 more!" And then we have time like tonight when I am filled with embarrasment and self-doubt thinking, "What are we doing?"

Re: My children embarassed me tonight.
Ugh! It happens. Full moon, Halloween...did you tell the kiddos about the baby? That could also be part of it. Actually, even if you didn't they might sense "a disturbance in the force." lol
Luckily, there are waaay more good days than bad!

Re: My children embarassed me tonight.
LOL! I know how you feel. Part of me wants another baby, while the other half wants to send the 2 I have to the circus.
Congrats on your new baby coming though! Things will be just great. My parents have 7 kids, and my dad use to say that we were the "circus coming to town" then they'd talk about another. LOL!

Re: My children embarassed me tonight.
Congratulations on the pregnancy!
Kids are never perfect all of the time, and it seems that (especially with siblings), when one starts misbehaving, it gets the ball rolling for ALL of them. Don't worry about it. They're kids!

I think we've all had times like that.
