I know I'm new here, and may be reading way too much into your comment but to me this implies that FF don't belong on a CD board. Where does it say that you have to BF to be on a CD board? This is exactly the type of judgement and being looked down upon that we have been discussing in our previous posts!

I'm a BFing mommy all the way.. bbut I definitely feel there should be a place for FFing mommies if we get a place soley for ourselves.. Or change breastfeeding to just a feeding forum.

Sorry, sometimes I forget how ambiguous things can come across on the internet, let me clarify...

If we added a FF forum simply because there are some mamas here who FF, then we would have to add forums for any and everything, as you said, religions, lifestyles, pl'ing etc... I don't see a reason to constantly add more forums to DS, I know we are a "mothering community" now, but if someone wants to go to a board where there are a million different mothering forums they can go to MDC, I like DS the way it is

Re: is there a FF forum?

I am a formula feeding fostermom-I did BF my youngest for 23mths, my oldest refused to BF at 3 days old, he got so upset every time I would try to nurse him that he started crying if I even picked him up cuz he was so sure I would try to BF him again, I eventually gave up and gave him FF. I had NO support with BF my first and tons of support with my second. I did ask about BFing my fosterbabies and was told NO WAY! I have lots of formula issues with the babies when one doesn't agree with a baby, it would be nice to have a place to post a ? without posts from anti FF people!!! I have read posts that we are poisoning our babies with formula, that we are bad parents b/c we "won't" BF our babies-it is not always a won't, but often times it is a "can't", but some people are so anti FFing that they don't really care what the reason is that a mother doesn't BF, they just feel it is WRONG to FF. I love the siggy about covering your head if bottle feeding bothers you! I wish I had thought of that!
