Mamas help me out! Cycle question

I did my first round of clomid this month, cd 5-9. I have not been charting , But I am a POASaholic.

So, here is the story. I tested on cd 12, and had a two lines, but one was not darker than the other. We bd on cd 12 and cd 14. However, I took a test on cd 14, nothing. Just the one line. Tested again on cd 17 two lines, but again, one was not darker than the other. Tested the next day, one line again. What in the world is going on here?

Before clomid, I had really irregular cycles, but I would O on cd 30 - 35. I have to go and get my blood taken tomorrow, cd 21 progesterone levels.
Did I O this month? Any one else have this issue?

TIA.

I'm not sure what you mean by "one being darker than the other"
What does that have to do with anything?

confused here.

sorry, can't help you much with that.....
do you not track actualy fertility signals at all? temps, mucous, etc?
That i could help with, lol!
I do know that some women O really early or late on clomid, so your timing could be way off.....they say that o should occur 7-10 days after the last pill....which, for a day 5-9 protocol, is day 16-19 for ovulation.......but again, it varies a lot.

We posted at the same time. Usually, I do OPk and Cm. This month no Cm, but that is one of the wonderful side effects of Clomid right?

Re: Mamas help me out! Cycle question

I am not sure about the clomid, because we got pregnant a few months before we were to start because they told us to try the ovulation strips first. After three years of trying and charting, the ov strips did the trick. I got a very faint second line when I ovulated and that was it. That was all that showed up. We did this for three or four months and we were finally pregnant with DD. For me personally, I ovulated at a weird time, like day 8 or 9 when the doctors were trying to tell me between days 12-15 or something like that. It did work for us, but the strips were not cheap and I would only do them from day 6 or so to day 15 and apparently it worked because we have a beautiful DD. I don't know if this answers your question, but I know all too well the stress behind it, and it kind of takes the fun out of trying to conceive. I hope this wasn't TMI!
