Unhappy 3rd trimester headaches?

I never got headaches in my 1st/2nd trimester but now that I'm in my 3rd it seems like I *always* have one

Anyone else?

it could be sinus pressure with the weather changing (don't know where you are) or just congestion. i know how you feel completely

Re: 3rd trimester headaches?

Honestly I've had both of what ya'll listed

I KNOW I've gotten bad dehydrated lately~I have to get up in the middle of the night to get drinks of water b/c my lips are so dry and my throat

And my nose has been so dry b/c we've had the heat on....so I've been using a cool mist humidifier.

I want these 7wks to pass quickly

Call your practitioner.

Last week, when I was at my apppointment (I'm 31 weeks), the NP gave me a verbal list of a bunch of reasons to call or get seen immediately, and one of the symptoms was "headaches that don't go away with Tylenol, and headaches that seem to always hang around." That's how she worded it.

So, just in case your headaches are the type she was talking about, you might want to give a call to the doc just to be on the safe side.

Make sure you tell your dr and that you're not developing PreE!!! You have to have a number of other symptoms (I'm sure you know...) but just be careful. A blood draw is usually necessary to confirm the diagnosis but headaches are very common. I had atypical eclamptic seizures after the worst headache of my life and dr's wouldn't even consider that it was PreE related b/c I was post-partum.

Re: 3rd trimester headaches?

DH mentioned that my legs looked a bit swollen the other day but no dizziness, thankfully. I just had an appt the other day and they checked my pee and everything~I'm guessing it was normal and no big weight gain but these headaches SUCK!
