safe "upset tummy" meds

I'm just about 35 weeks preggo (tomorrow is 35 weeks) and i've had some pretty bad diarrhea since friday night and i'm just wondering what i can take. my pregnancy "manual" from the midwife's office said Kaopectate but a friend told me Immodium. what is safe to take? i've been drinking alot of dairy (we went through a gallon of skim milk in about 2 days) because it's been my craving...could that be the culprit? i'm also keeping up my water intake

Activated charcoal. You should be able to find it at any "health food" type store. They are just caplets of activate charcoal - it absorbs whatever toxin is upsetting your system. That's what they use in the hospital (in massive quantities though) if someone has injested something life-threatening.
