HELP! My IPFs Aren't Soft

..in fact they are scratchy and rough.

I bought them used,thinking they'd be super soft,but they aren't.

Is there something I can do to fix them?

Well, have you washed them yet? If they were line dried before they were sent to you, then they would be pretty stiff. Wash 'em and dry 'em in the dryer and see how they are.

Yes a sweater shaver won't hurt them. Rub some colorless baby lotion or some hair conditioner on them. I know this sounds crazy but it should help. Not a lot I would water it down in a spray bottle and spray it on... Let it air dry and then wash them. HTH

How about trying those dryer balls or tennis balls to soften them up?

I would also try stripping them it could be hard water mineral deposits. But I second the dryer ball idea. I love my "balls".
