Fleece covers?

How can you tell the difference between that and wool and what the heck do you do with them? I've heard you wash them with the rest of your dipes, but if there's no layer of PUL or anything how does it hold in wetness? Don't they need to be lanolized?

Re: Fleece covers?

Wool doesn't have to be washed but every few weeks or so unless it gets dirty.

Fleece can only be used 1-2x before it needs to be washed. It can even be thrown in with your regular clothes because fabric softener makes it even more water repellent.

I have no idea how or why it is pretty much waterproof but it works!

I love my fleece covers. I use those almost entirely at night and around the house with prefolds. I have 2 dogs and a cat, and wool seems to attract all the hair and it drives me nuts. With the fleece, it doesn't seem to get that much hair on it.
