BF doesn't keep you from ovulating unless you're doing it like every 2-3 hours I think.
You can have AF without ovulating, but you can't ovulate without having a BFP or AF as a resule, make sense? So, are your periods regular? Are you getting cervical mucous that you can check for fertility?
I'm breastfeeding and TTC, too!

Most of that makes sense! What is "BFP" I'm not familiar with all the shorthand. I've only had my period three times since I gave birth a year ago 8/24. I have those clear blue easy ovulating tests but since I haven't had a "regular" cycle I don't know when to check. Does that make sense?

Sorry it took me a while to get back with you!
BFP, big fat positive in RE to a pregnancy test. I think with those O sticks you start trying at around day 10 of your cycle is you have a regular 28 day cycle. I think.
