I have a lot of tail bone and lower back pain, but not what you described. Maybe something is out of alignment. Have you tried some warm packs on your lower back, or gone to a chiro? Sorry I can't be more help but

I don't have much experience but to me, it sounds like your sciatic nerve... count your self lucky you didn't have that pain in your other pregnancies! I haven't found anything or heard of anything to help it. Mine has been worse in my right than left. DH laughs at me when I put pants on or take them off... it's so difficult and the pain will knock you down!

sounds like sciatic pain to me, which is NORMAL, but horrible. Im dealing with this right now, i started getting it at like 5-6 weeks, and its so horrible... i hope you feel better!!

try laying on the opposite side that it hurts... like if it hurts on the right side, lay on your left.. good luck!

I had that going on for a couple of days. Luckily it went away. I was about to make an appt for the chiropractor. LOVE the chiropractor. If it's not going away I would definately recommend seeing one. They can work wonders!

Ya I have been laughed at for holding my butt when I walk Lol . It has gone away now for me but there for a time it was very bad , and like you said it hurt like heck to walk , I can't remember when it started or when it stopped but it did stop , so hopefully it will for you soon .

Sorry knock at the door .

Anyway I was a going to add that I have had allot of sciatic nerve pain this time around and the whole pain in the butt did NOT feel like that , so I'm not sure what it was , but yours could be still .

I had that w/ dd. Get thee to an acupuncturist!!! I was told by my OB that I would just have to wait it out (I was 20 weeks), but I went to my acupuncturist and she sent it packing in 2 visits, never to return. GL mama, I know how that hurts!

Re: Pain in the @ss - literally

Its definately your sciatic nerve. I had it from about 7weeks to 23 weeks and then from about 32 weeks on. The only thing that has helped me, was once I got bigger, using a maternity support belt to help pick the weight up off your scitic nerve.
