Re: How many weeks were you when you delivered your babies!

Brintsonn was born at 35w 1 d induced because I had preeclampsia and my kidneys had shut down 5/31/06. 26 1/2 hours later he came through vaginally and almost brought my pelvic bone with him. LOL. But I would do it all over again tomorrow. I had a natural birth although it wasn't meant to be that way. I was going to get an epidural... I did but it only worked for 3 hours because he turned it up for a 550lb person... I was no where near that size. So they let the bottle run out completely and air almost get to my veins... That dr is no longer allowed to practice medicine because my OBGYN made a complaint... But now that I did it naturally unwillingly... but I did... I would never do it any other way... Not that you asked for all the extra info but I am coo coo like that so anyway...

35 weeks 5 days. I was technically induced (from pre-eclampsia), but my water broke on its own before we went to the hospital.

Re: How many weeks were you when you delivered your babies!

35w1d with my twins after 15 weeks of bedrest. I started contracting regularly at 20 weeks, several hospitalizations including a 4 week stay in the hospital from 26w-30w. Funny though, I never went into true labor. I had an emergency-c at 35w1d due to pre-eclampsia.

Re: How many weeks were you when you delivered your babies!

I had my ds on my EDD! BUT when he was born he was very overdue by at least 10+ days. I had an u/s done at 20 weeks and the tech suggested that he was measuring at least 7 days older but my OB refused to change my edd. So I guess I can safely say I was at least 41w when I had him.

Re: How many weeks were you when you delivered your babies!

Ds1 came at 41wks at 7lbs 3ozs induction for pre-e
DD was born silently at 22wks at 1lb 3ozs
Ds2 came at 39wks 1day and was the largest weighing 8lbs 9ozs I went into labor on my own but stalled as soon as I arrived at the hospital so I wound up needing AROM, PIT and eventually an epidural just to finish dilating. After that we turned the epi off and I got to deliver him naturally. It was a wonderful experience and should I ever become pregnant again I will definately go for the natural delivery. (that is if my labor doesn't stall again)

DD#1 42 weeks, induced, 2 hour labor and she wouldn't budge and they lost her heart tone....emer. c-section. 8 lbs and 23 1/2 inches LONG! No wonder she was breaking my ribs with her feet...she had nowhere else to put them!
DD#2 scheduled c-section at 38 weeks. Placental degenernation and she stopped growing. 5 lbs 12 oz when I brought her home. The wee one! Still puny as all get out. 8 months old and 26 inches long stretched as far as they can stretch her and 14 lbs.

40 weeks exactly with all 3 kids! Freaky, huh? We'll see with the last one!
