I have my next appointment on the 20th of December, I didnt get a call from anyone about my ultrasound ( obviously not as concerned as i am lol ) but i dont think they call about twins .. well i dont know.. lol..

my main concern is that if it is not a twin.. what is as big as the baby basically in there with it.. ? kwim?

but she ( the tech ) did not seemed concerned at all that it could have been anything other than a twin, she just couldnt get a strong enough heartbeat from it without knowing for sure it wasnt coming from the other one to confirm it.., but she did confirm, they are not connected, it is not connected to the wall,

i looked into twins at this stage and saw the information about " vanishing twin syndrome" .. i think in that case i would have rather not known.. but.. what can you do.. as long as they,it is healthy is what matters most weither it's 1 or 3 in there..

but thank you ladies for your support, and informatoin and in many cases confirmation lol..

i said i wanted 4 kids but didnt want to be pregnate 4 times lol.. looks like i may have actually gotten something I wanted lol..

At my 8wk appt I had an u/s and found out that I had twins and they were completely sepereate. And mine were about 3-4days apart. From looking at yours you could have twins, and like you said it could be vanishing twins from one egg that split. Mine were 2 seperate eggs. I am now 5wks pregnant again and I have my first appt. on Dec 20th too!!! Everyone thinks it will be twins again...we'll see. And good luck! Twins are a BLAST!

Wow mama! I think I see twins and I think I even see two seperate placentas... It looks as if there is a faint line in between the placenta... whatever way it goes I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy!

I would definitely call the doctor and see if you can get in for another u/s before the 20th appointment. You may be better than me but there is no way I could wait almost three weeks to find out what is going on.

BTW - 7/11 is an excellent birthday. I have had it for over 30 years and I love it.

BTW - 7/11 is an excellent birthday. I have had it for over 30 years and I love it.

they had me on a " list" for an early appointment...and they called and changed me to the 17th lol.. so that's 3 days earlier... im new at this office so as badly as i want to call and ask for another u/s i dont want them to think im crazy and u/s happy lol.. but i do want to know.. SOOOO badlly.

ive got to tell you... im going nuts.. like i want to be excited.. but realistic.. so ... i think i might call and just ask.. about another u/s... DH said if we had to we could pay out of pocket.. so that's exciting.. i think he just wants to put me at ease... ( since im blaming him for this anyway lol kidding lol ) but im just gonna call and see what they say..
