actually it is really easy to do I have some tye dyed flats on their way to me and I cant wait to use them! I have a bunch of tye dyed prefolds but the flats dry so much quicker!

Prefolds are great, we use them on 4 mo. old ds. (We just switched from infants to regulars.)

But I'm pretty sure the origami fold is for flats. We also have a few flats, and they're fun to use sometimes when ds isn't too wiggly. The origami fold is my favorite for flats.
