I just picture a grown man replacing some of the cute pics that mamas post all the time, like running around with no shirt, paci in mouth and toting a favorite lovey. Sorry, too funny!

Those are all great! Love the daddy longies. And yep we need to see an action shot....get your dh to pose for us Do you think you could make some with non wool yarn and them be nice and squishy still? I am thinking it would cost less to make them and they would be machine washable. Toying with the idea of making myself a pair

I'll get some action shots up on Monday when DH gets back from work. My mother is hounding me for pics of DH wearing them also .... she can't believe I actually went through with it and made them for him.

As far as the cost went for making them, the actual yarn wasn't too bad. I think my corriedale was about $20 a lb, so it came out to a little over $50 for the yarn cost.

My DH wants some too. I told him I would make him some for his Christmas present but he wont' get them until January or later! He doesn't care, he is just thrilled to death.

I think a big part is that they love their woman made them for them...it's a nurturing thing!

I think I can get them done with one cone of BFL-I am going to do bulky just because it will go faster and be warmer. So around $70 for the yarn.

Re: A Few Customs .... And My Largest Longies. Ever.

My DH has been wanting some since I satrted making them last winter for DS. He's a lobster fisherman, and being in Maine it's pretty cold out on the water all winter. I've always told him there weren't enough sheep in the world Maybe I'll have to give it a try

ya know - if we knit our dh's ones in bulky wool maybe it wouldn't be so bad!
