My daughter was 6 pounds and born at 38.5 weeks.

I was told by my Midwife that often times a FIRST baby is at or close to its mothers birth weight, and that the next baby (or babies) are generally a bit larger.

DS#1- 7lbs 6oz 19 1/2in- 4 days before due date
DD#2- 8lbs 0oz 20in- 1 1/2 wks over
DD#3- 10lbs 13oz 22 1/2 in- one day before due date

Riley was 6lbs 2 oz 18.5" born 2 weeks early

DS #1=7lbs and 6 oz. 20 inches long. 3 wks early.

DS #2=8lbs and 9 oz. 20 inches long. 2 wks early.

DD #3=5lbs at birth and she was 18 inches long. left hospital and she was 4lbs and 9oz. she was 3-1/2 wks early.

Ooohhh fun, I'll play..

DS 1 10lbs 8 oz 42.2 wks... (natural homebirth)
DS 2 9 lbs even 41 wks... (homebirth also..)

Ok, a little disclaimer on #2.. I ate NO SUGAR with second babe. First one was a huge surprise at his size. My midwife said, no sugar or no homebirth with #2 for fear I would have a baby wayyyyy bigger and end up with a distocia...

Im not worried about who is gonna out weigh or under weigh the next im worried whos gonna try and come earlier then the last.

DD #1 7lbs 8 oz 2 wks early 5-17-94
DS #1 5lbs 6 oz 5 wks early 11-9-03
DD #2 4lbs 5 oz 7 wks early 5-20-06

ds#1 7 lbs (induced on his due date)
dd#1 7 lbs 2 oz (39 weeks 2 days)
dd#2 6 lbs (36 weeks 2 days)
dd#3 6 lbs 1 oz (37 weeks 3 days)

They are estimating ds#2 is at 7 1/2 lbs already and Im 37 weeks... so we'll see!
