Meal for new mama

I am making and delivering a meal for a new mama tomorrow.

I'm looking for ideas on what to make for her. It would be for 2 adults and 1 child. I'm looking for something fairly easy. The only thing I was told to avoid was fish. (I can go shopping in the morning if necessary.)

Let the ideas roll. Tell me what you would like delivered.

That's so sweet of you! I know that I would appreciate anything but casseroles are usually great, quick and easy.

A meal I've done a lot is tacos. I have one of those Tupperware thingies (so sad I can't remember the name as I used to sell it) that have all the dividers. I did all the toppings in that...soft or hard shells, whatever they prefer.

I've done the stir fry thing, too!

This is great! A friend and I just did this for a new mom just last week. I made lasagna and my friend fixed garlic bread, salad and apple cake. They were soooo happy that we did this for them. And it wasn't any extra work on my part really..as I made two lasagnas..one for them and one for us that night.

I always make a double-batch and keep one batch for my family's dinner. Most of what I usually make has already been mentioned.

Well, I decided on Homemade Potato Soup. It's easy and I could make a double batch for my family plus I had most of the ingredients already here. I'm adding a salad and rolls.

Next week, I'm making dinner for my best friend whose DH has cancer. I will be making a large sub sandwich for them plus dessert.

Our MOPS group does this on a regular basis for our new moms, moms that are moving across town, and reallly sick moms (or DHs as in my friends case). I find that a lot of meals tend to be pasta or casseroles. I try to do something a little different if I can.
