DH wants me to throw away my frozen breastmilk!

My mother still has a container of milk from my youngest brother in her fridge (my brother turned 25 this year!!!!) I think it's ok to keep at least one container as a memory I wish I had been able to pump extra for my ds but he drains me of every drop LOL

Are you really short on freezer space? Your DS isn't that old. Just because he refuses a bottle now, doesn't mean that he always will. Is the milk about to go bad? What about trying it in a sippy cup. I started giving my DS water (pediatrician approved) when he was six months old in a sippy. You could try your BM in a sippy for him.

I guess I don't see what the big deal is to you DH if you have frozen BM in the freezer or not .

OMG! He just tossed it! I just looked in the freezer and it's gone.

That's a little extreme, for me.

I certainly wouldn't have cooked for the rest of the family with it though! My husband would hit the roof if I "slipped" something into his food without his knowing; I know I wouldn't want to eat it either. I can definately see putting it in a sippy, or just keeping it to see if the baby will take a bottle later on. But, it's gone now. Onward and upward, I guess!

OKay my DH would be in DEEP SH*T if he every did that! He would be a very sorry man!

ETA: But my DH is all about BFing and has, obviously, got a taste over the last 3.5yrs and says it tastes like Vanilla Ice Cream He has also used it in his coffee before, ROFL! Gosh I love him!

I have to agree, its not just about the 'milk' its about the lack of respect that he felt he had the right to do that with somethign so precious to me .
