didn't ANYONE use SM FB for newborn??

After searching the threads, apparently small fuzzi bunz almost never fits a newborn, but the fb website says they fit 7lb and up! Is there a way to MAKE it work? I just bought my stash, all fb, and don't want to spend more money for a smaller size, and prefolds are so... boring!

Thanks!
RaeAnne

It totally depends on the build of your baby, My LO was so skinny he didn't fit properly into smalls until 5 weeks, then he switched to medium until right around 6 months.
But really he had little chicken legs): it was kind of sad, I could totally see them fitting a really chubby baby right away. GL

Hmmmm I'd love to know too! I've bought several small fb on clearance. But I bought them knowing that my lo might not fit them right away.

Well my dd is 17 months and she's still in a S FB. Like pp said, it depends on your LO Here's a pic as an example. We are on the smallest snap setting on the waist, and one up form the smallest on the thighs. HTH.

Re: didn't ANYONE use SM FB for newborn??

My youngest was 8lb8oz and I didn't even try cd's for a week(c/sec). But even though he was big they wouldn't work, by the time he was big enough for the tightest waist snaps the legs were already getting snug so they always fit wonky. I ended up ordering some pf's and nb prowraps to get us by for a few weeks. Good luck getting them to work for you. I don't trust the size chart for fb, it isn't very accurate IME.

I've got a pic somewhere of my newborn in a sm FB... lemme dig it up:

she was probably a week and a half old here, she was 8lbs 10oz at birth though, so she wasn't tiny

I used them on my newborn and they worked just fine, but she was 9lbs 13oz when she was born. We started using cloth when she was about a week old after we ran out of sposies.

Yep, and as a matter of fact she is in mediums now! I used them on 3 kids.
