OWWWWWWIEEEEEEEE! When DS did that, I screamed, too. I felt bad for upsetting him, but at least it scared him out of trying it again.

After ds did that to me, I paid very close attention to him during nursing sessions and when he slowed down, I had my finger in his mouth popping him off real quick like.

it still hurts, days later, when she nurses. I think there might be a scab on it. owowowow!

Been there, done that. Noah started teething at 4 1/2 months and used me as the teether..I honestly only survived that time by just having my mind made up to keep nursing.

The ouch will probably help her not to try it again...and I usually take Noah off the breast if he decides to bite. Sometime he does it cause he's board and not really nursing.

and this is why i'm glad that Joe only now, at almost 10mths, is just getting his first tooth Spud bit me really hard a few times right before he weaned when he wasn't getting enough milk. i was scabbed and bruised for awhile.

YYIIKKES! With my DD, when she was teething, she liked to bite. The worst was right after the first two teeth came in. She clamped down and pulled off without letting go. So, she just scraped my nippie all the way down with her teeth. It hurt to nurse her on that side for days, and I had the worst sore there. She eventually stopped. I just stopped feeding her if she tried to bite. Also, like pp said I would take her off real quick if she looked like she was slowing down. Thankfully, ds hasn't REALLY bitten yet, he's just tried to when he's about done and bored. I've tried to nip it in the bud early this time.
