Diaper Swappers

DD is very very very allergic to milk and soy, and since she has recently gotten the OK to start eating table food, i would like to make a few things that she can have at Christmas dinner. I know i will be making carrots, and she can have some of the turkey, but does anyone one have any other recipes? Maybe for mashed potatoes w/ broth instead of milk/butter? Or a casserole w/out a cream soup or cheese? Thanks so much!

How are you doing with this mama? I was dairy and soy free for over a year because DD was so very sensitive she'd react to my breast milk, so I got pretty good at coming up with things to eat and subs to use. If you still want more ideas I'll try to help some

Nobody mentioned rice milk, almond milk, coconut milk and oat milk...
those can be substituted!

Also, there are dairy free butters out too. We use that alot... especially in mashed up sweet potatoes! Yum! And in oatmeal.

Thanks for your ideas, we have steterd letting dd eat our food just really recently. I am not having much of a problem w/ the no dairy part, its the no soy taht is getting me. Soy is in enerything! Jeese!

Where do you find the dairy free butters?

Soy is in everything, wish i knew how to get around that.

i have found the dairy free betters at like whole foods, the only downside is taht the true dairy free ones usually have soy, and they don't melt! lol!
