s/o what does exclusively bf mean to you?

Yup, I'm with everyone else: EBF means breastmilk from whatever container you have to put it in.

Lemme throw a wrench in the works, though....if you recieve donor milk or have a friend wetnurse your baby, is that still EBF? It's not all YOUR BM but it's still all BM, right? I say yes but curious if anyone has a different opinion....

I would say that that is ebf too -I don't think it has to be the mamas milk necessarily

I agree that EBF means all breastmilk no matter how baby receives it.

As for the question Jill just posed I'm going to say that as long as it's ALL breastmilk (no formula, goat, or cows milk) then it's still EBF. But that's just my opinion.

I think of EBF as meaning only drinking breast milk. Whether it be a few bottles or cups or no bottles or cups.

I always thought it meant that the lo was on breastmilk only, no formula or solids.

That may have been me and if so this is what I said.
"Just like some have difference of opinion as to what EBF is IMO EBF is breast milk straight from the breast with no other liquids(water,formula,juice). to others it's breast milk in a bottle."

I didn't say anyones way was right or wrong just what my opinion was and that others had a different opinion.
As I also said in that thread many of us have differing opinions as to what EBF and CLW is. Doesn't mean one mother is better than the other.

I dont think it matters where it comes from, just that its JUST breastmilk they are getting
