Anybody here had 3 or more C- Sections
HI
I am TTC #3 and I will be having my 3rd by C-section just like I did with my other 2. Just wondering if any one else has had 3 c-sections. How is the healing process after your third. I contacted my Homebirth midwife that I tried to have with dd#2 and she said she would see me through out my pregnancy and we would just call the hospital when I hit my due date with the next one. My best friend is scheduled for her 4th c-section this Friday. She said that the healing process after her 3rd baby was actually easier than after her 1st and 2nd.

Re: Anybody here had 3 or more C- Sections
I have had three c-sections and I do think that the last one was my easiest recovery

Re: Anybody here had 3 or more C- Sections
I've also had 3 c-sections and would say the recovery was about the same each time, just a little harder beacause you have little ones to care for. I think the best advice is to schedule help for the first several weeks. Oh and I also saw a midwife for care for all three (though the 3rd was an attempted vba2c)

Re: Anybody here had 3 or more C- Sections
I've had 4... My 3rd recovery was easier, I think because I knew what to expect and what to do. My 4th was tough... I had so much scar tissue, the section was difficult and I was very sore. Not to mention 5 children to care for! I would agree to try to have as much help as you can. But the recovery took the same amt of time, just more pain... Now if I could do something about the sagging skin!
