After a perfectly healthy PG with Maddie, I had an unxepected PG and subsequent m/c last April/May.

We are PG again, but I've been spotting now for 4 days. Not bad, but at first it was brown and the past 3 days its been red. Very little but consistent. I had some cramping the other day as well.

I figure to be somewhere between 8-10 weeks along by now (no PP AF yet so I have no real idea...going by my m/s which started last week, but has slowed down considerably the past 2 days which is adding to my nervousness).

I have my first OB appt on Monday, its the only day I can get in there because I have someone to come watch Maddie while I go.

Any encouragement here? I didn't sleep much last night.

momma, i had bleeding like that at 8 weeks with ky and they said it was just residual from prior af. cant you take maddie with you? i took kylie to all of my ob appointments when i was preggo with logan casue i didnt have a sitter.

All I can offer you is

hopefully the Dr will be able to give you a firm answer. And be sure to ask if progesterone can help you. If you are low, you can spot/mc.

mama. I'd try to take it as easy as possible (I know, practically impossible with a toddler). Is it at all possible to take Maddie to an appointment with you? If you are concerned about the spotting maybe they would be willing to do an u/s this week?

to you, Mama. I had spotting with Kaden starting at 6.5 weeks and lasting until about 12 weeks. I had an ultrasound at 6.5 weeks(heart rate was low) and again at 8.5 weeks(heart rate was high). I was a nervous wreck. I wasn't seen in the office for it. They just called the hospital the day I called to set up the ultrasound. I hope and pray that everything is just fine.

Sorry for your nervousness. I had spotting with this pregnancy too and it doesn't make it easy during those first few days/weeks. I hope the doctor can ease your fears and that you will go on to have a healthy pregnancy. I wish there was something I could say more to help, but for now I'll offer

Sami. Could you call your OB and go in WITH Maddie to at least get a u/s?

I COULD bring Maddie, but she's just at that age where its too hard. I haven't told anyone in my family yet (we were waiting until 2nd tri this time, because with my Uncle's death, its too much if something were to happen here), so the only person I can really ask is our mother's helper and she's away until Sunday.
