ok, so do you guys REALLY wait 6 wks PP to DTD?
just wondering... i couldn't do it. i made it about 15 days.
is there a reason why they tell you to wait 6 weeks? or is it just a standard number they give to everyone??

I think it is just a number they throw out. I think if there is a reason they want you to wait they should say it (a bad tear or something). And no, I could not possibly have waited a full 6 weeks.

I think it is just a standard...That being said...I had a c-section and had to wait three weeks, before I could possibly DTD without major pain. That being said, even when we did DTD it too some careful movement and planning

Kudos to you for wanting to TD that early! I always waited months! I just wasn't up for it in the beginning. But then again with DD I had a 4th degree laceration and with DS it was c-section.

I waited 4 weeks pp. I had some pp bleeding that took forever to stop.
