UPDATE - Would this bother you? Fluffy mail flaw.

Hi all!

I just got my first Stacinator wool cover in the mail today and it has a flaw. I bought it used for a great price ($7 ppd) and it is in otherwise excellent condition. I did see pics before I bought it, but I guess not enough, as now that I look again, the back was not photographed. It is a small "hole" that almost goes through the outer layer, with just some fibers keeping it from being a full hole. The flaw shouldn't affect the effectiveness of the cover, but I am still bummed. Not sure what I would have done if it had been mentioned (buy vs. not buy). Just thought I would get some opinions before I contact the seller. LMK whatcha think.

UPDATE: I emailed the seller and she was very apologetic, said she hadn't noticed it and asked what I wanted her to do. I think I was justing having a day. Three packages received and a little disappointment with each. Anyway, I just told her not to worry about it, just letting her know. Thanks for all the advice and

Hmmm. Well, if the seller noticed it, it should have been mentioned. but it seems pretty small - it's possible they didn't notice. Also, as you say $7ppd is awfully cheap - what would you want the seller to do if you contact them? I assume that you checked what it was mailed in & it didn't get poked by something in transit....

I think it shouldve been stated in the sale that there was a hole , the price shouldnt just be a key to determining if a product has a flaw, the seller should let the potential buyer know so they can decide if they still want it or not

Not really sure what I would want her to do. As for the package, she had it packaged up all pretty with a ribbon, but no holes in the plastic bag or envelope.

I doubt she could have missed it. Even though it is pretty small, it is pretty obvious due to the light color of the cover. I think I will email her and let her know, but sounds like I wouldn't have a problem reselling if it doesn't work out for us. I think that was my biggest concern, cuz this is our first wool.

Just let the seller know you recieved it, and apon inspection you noticed a small hole. I wouldnt expect anything of the seller since it was a great price. But, it's possible it was overlooked. I know sometimes I breifly look over items and with one eye on the baby and the other eye on whatever im looking at it's possible LOL
