I have a dry bag behind my bedroom door. I don't put anything in it but will try some pail powder once the NE co-op is complete!

Definately dry. The thought of a wet pail grosses me out!

To the pp who said she doesn't know if she could do a dry pail: why not?

My house doesn't stink FWIW! I spray poop off w/ a diaper sprayer and wash every 2 days.

Re: wet pail or dry pail

I have two hanging (zippered) wet bags and so I use the dry method. I wash every 2-3 days. When there is a poo diaper, I use the mini shower and then run the dipe and wipe through the soak cycle in the wash (this gets off all the solids) and then they just go in the wet bag with the rest of the dirties. Doesn't smell at all.
