Re: UBIPF's.... How do you know they are ready to use?
You should dry in between. You can also boil them. That helps to reduce the amount of washes you will need to to. To test them sprinkle a few drops of water on them. If the immediately soak it up they should be alright. If it sits there a little or repells then you definately need more washes. HTH

Oops... I haven't dried them yet
I'll dry them after this wash.... so, I'm guessing they aren't going to be ready to use for a couple days then! Thanks!

Re: UBIPF's.... How do you know they are ready to use?
I didn't dry mine in between but I did boil a big pot of water and add to the hot wash water. I had to wash 5-6 times. The drops of water idea is a good one I just had to try using them.

Re: UBIPF's.... How do you know they are ready to use?
A good rule of thumb for these is 6-8 times (drying either on a line, or in the dryer) to get all of the oils out. Don't want the oils to irritate babes skin. Also they don't have full absorbancy until then anyhow. They are a little different that the cpf's, but so much softer. Wash them and go hang them while you are doing your other laundry. Then after they are at least half way dry, throw them back in the wash.
