I was born and lived until I was 8 in the Quad Cities, in Moline to be exact. My Dad worked at the John Deere plant until the lay-offs in the 80's and we had to come here for work

My dh's uncle and aunt live in the Moline area and his uncle worked at John Deere but is now retired.

He is Army, but I'm just going home for 2 weeks; we'll be in Germany til 2010.

We're currently in Lake of the Ozarks (since 6/07) Moved here from KC, well just north of in Liberty/Excelsior Springs.

Hey! We live close to each other. I live around the lake. It is pretty boring and quiet here compared to KC.
