Hello!

Do you have highland cattle? The one in your avi is so cute. And your son is Hamish...you must be a Scot????

Re: Hi other BC Mamas!

I'd love to have Highland cattle but the pic is of a cow named Hamish My hubby is part Scottish, hence the name.

Hmmm.... another reason I can bug my dh to move to a piece o land around here.... we could have cattle! hehe

Re: Hi other BC Mamas!

I'm from the Island too. I live in Shawnigan Lake, but work in Victoria (HI JENN!!!). I have a 3 1/2 year old (pretty near) girl who is finally keeping herself dry, as long as we bribe her with min M&M's and a 1 1/2 year old girl who is currently in BG2.0 AIO pockets and the occassional Swaddlebee, MotherEase or WonderWorks AIO.

For the lower-Island girls, there's a killer consignment store in Duncan at Beverly Corners - Kinderbeez. She has great stuff (and CDs because I just consigned my bunch there!) for good prices.

Good to see so many BC girls here!

Well you're in luck! I am a CD'ing mommy in Maple Ridge! ( and I know a few others as well) My name is Amie and I have 3 kids. I have two beautiful girls and a gorgeous baby boy! I have at least part time CD's all my kids and have grown more fond of it with each one. This time I can honestly say I am completely addicted! I think it may have something to do with actually investing in some good CD's and not just making due with hand-me-downs that I wasn't really crazy about. It's so great to see other BC momma's out there!

P.S I LOVE the shuswap area, I am up there quite a bit as I have family and friends up there!

Hey ladies.

I'm from Surrey! I'm Erin, Mama to two beautiful daughters. Chloe is 7 and my fluffy baby, Moxie, is almost 3m! I'm lucky because I live near the border and have a US mailing address so I can get a lot of good deals on dipes!

Howdy to all the BC Momma

A little bout me....

On mat leave until the end of Feb. and dreading the huge cut in our budget come March, but I'm sure we will survive

I have 3 princes and a knight in shining armour

Right now I'm sponsoring my amazing DH to immigrate to Canada from Arkansas And so far, things are going smoothly So if things progress the way they have been we're hoping to be able to visit family down in AR by the US thanks giving..... but no guarantees....

anyway I'm sure I'm rambling
We are also waiting on immigration! I'm sponsoring my husband who is originally from California but lives in Seattle. We did the out of country sponsorship since it was quicker than if he moved up and applied from within Canada. It's been difficult since I had our daughter back in December but he comes up almost every weekend. Definitely didn't plan it this way but she had other ideas. We found out I was pregnant 1.5 months after booking our wedding date! Anyway, we sent our application off at the beginning of October, I was approved as a sponsor towards the end of November, his application was received in Buffalo at the beginning of December, and we just heard two weeks ago that he was approved (with no interview required) and that it just needs to be finalized! Can't wait for us to be living under one roof! How is your application coming along?
