Hey mamas,

Well after the light bleeding I had for a few days after my BFPs, my tests got lighter and lighter and on Friday was negative. So I am guessing I had a very early loss. I am sad but I think I was expecting it before I knew for sure. Trying to decide when the right time to TTC will be...

Casie, I am sorry hun. Glad you seem to be in good spirits and hope you have a healthy pg when you are ready again.

Thanks mamas. I am dealing with it pretty well I think. Although it doesn't help that a friend of ours has a 4 week old that is still tinier than my boys at birth... so seeing the squishy cuteness makes me a little sad... especially when Blake tells me he needs a baby sister.

I know it will happen when it is supposed too. Its just so hard to wait!

Hey ladies it has been a while since I have been on. I have a question for those of you who had a natural birth (wither birth center or home birth) WHo was your midwife and doula? About how much did it cost you? (oh and I am not pregnant just trying to figure this all out before hand)

I used the Special Beginnings birth center in Grand Prairie. Betty Winford was my midwife. She and her assistants are awesome and it was a wonderful experience.

I don't remember how much it cost, as shortly after going to Betty my husband left his job and we lost our insurance so I had pregnant Medicaid. What I CAN tell you, is that before we lost the insurance.... Betty was out of network for my insurance. My out of pocket cost with her was going to be LESS than the out of pocket cost that the doctor and hospital that were IN-NETWORK for my insurance.

It was a wonderful experience, and if I were to get pregnant again I'd go right back to Betty!

I do NOT reccommend Christy Martin in Hurst.

Cost wise I think it was around $3k, maybe $3500 for her, but then of course U/S, birthkit and labs were extra.
