There was one in Mansfield today, and I've seen Arlington FD all over too. I hope they get good Christmas bonuses this year, they deserve it, I can't imagine how many hours they must be putting in right now.
i know, it's so sad and scary The last two times we've gone out of town we've seen fires on the side of the road, usually with firemen still on scene.

The fires are very scary.

I want to meet up! I bought knitting needles and yarn last year but couldn't figure it out... I need someone in real life to show me, not youtube, LOL! I would love to meet up for knitting and fluff talk. I do childcare MWF so T/R is great for me too.

Do we absolutely want to meet during the day? I will have at least my 16mo dd with me, and possibly my 3yo ds too depending on day. I can try to come with the kids, but either of you open to a momma night out with yarn and needles? lol, that sounds really strange. Lmk

Love the idea of a mama night out! Maybe Starbucks would be a good option for that?

That's cool with me too I probably couldn't do it this week, but next would be fine. If it's easier for ya'll we could meet at my house that way the kids could play. Either is good though!

Re: DFW mamas

Can I just vent for a sec.........GARRRRRR!!!!! Hubbys car crapped the bed and we dont have a lot of money to fix it and he works so much he doesnt have the time really. The clutch is shot and the AC just died. (awesome!) Hes pretty handy so he can fix it (well not the ac) but he works SO much right now because they are short handed. Which leads me to problem B. Ive been looking for a second job for a while now but with much greater intensity for about two weeks and NO ONE will call me back!! Problem C: day care fell through again. So even if I did get an interview I have no one to watch my little diablas.

Done whining.....thanks for letting me scream about that.

hugs, Candi. we've all been there and it's stressful! Crazy stuff happens in threes though, right? So you should be good for a WHILE.

I think a knitting moms night out sounds great. And hey for those who don't knit or don't wan tto learn they can come also. I am pretty open but I know for sure that Mon, WEd and Thursday nights are out for me. My hubby has class on those nights.
