Found this under my stove... What is it???

I was "exploring" my kitchen today, and I found these things under the stove in that huge drawer. What is the drawer for BTW? Can I store pans in there? I'm embarassed to be asking, but I'm a beginner cook and have no idea!

This looks like some type of surface with a drip pan, but what would I use it for??


This I have NO idea! Pics are of the top and bottom(?) What is it, and how do I use it??

Looks like a broiler pan to me.

Broiling pan Mama

2 types of drawers, some are warming (get really hot when oven is on) some are just a drawer for pan storage (still get warm but not super hot). Your manual should say which one you have.

I JUST found the drawer under my stove, so don't feel bad! lol. Thats a broiling pan. I have no idea how to use it though! lol.

I have one of those pans, but I've never used it - I'd be curious to see how others use it!

i call it a hot dog cooker, lol!
no way to do steaks/hotdogs/hamburger in the oven closer to grilled than using one of those. just stick the stuff on the top of the grooves, the grease drips into the bottom part and leaves nice 'grill' lines

I'm just dying over here laughing, because I've never seen one so clean.. Yup, it's kinda what we use when we can't grill out.. except the flames will be on top. You can use it a lot mama..
