Ok, my turn to fish for sympathy!

Lots of January mamas on here this month!
Congrats to all, but I felt like getting my own thread started because, well, I'm pregnant and I want some love too!

I'm due Jan 28!
I went to the OB on Wednesday and I'm at 1cm but still thick.
We moved in this new place Dec 27.
Was in the hospital with dehydration, a stomach bug w/ vomiting/diarrhea and BH contractions on Dec 28, had to get an IV to rehydrate. Was better next day.

I'm so big! My toddler is so clingy! The house is still not completely organized!
I rearranged the kitchen twice and still not happy with the set up of the changing table area.....
NESTING!

Ok, anyway, that's the breakdown.
Sorry I write like a technical schematic rather than poetic at the moment. lol
Generally speaking, I like to number things in lists too....

1. Thanks for reading.
2. Thanks in advance for those who sympathize!
3. Ok well, I guess I'm done! It's a boy, my toddler is a girl! Only have one room for them both! Oh my!

Re: Ok, my turn to fish for sympathy!

Hugs to you mama for all of that!!

I do give you my sympathy!! I hope things start getting better and you don't have any more trips to the hospital for ivs! Near the end of pregnancy, and sometimes even the beginning , things get so hard with feeling bad and with older children. It seems like they know when you are miserable and that is when they get to acting up or getting super clingy.

I wish you easy, fast labor vibes when you finally go into labor! Can't wait to read your birth story and see pictures of your new little one!

Aww momma , sending you the love

Your body still has plenty of time to progress , and really 1 cm is a good start ! Have you considered taking EPO ( evening primrose oil ) ? Your not due for a few weeks still so you could start some of that and help encourage your cervix to soften and get ready to go .

And don't stress too much about the house , everything will fall into place

mama! I'm right there with you! My house is a mess, I'm still trying to get stuff together for this LO and I'm exhausted. DD#2 is being extra clingy and bratty and I can't get DH to pick up after himself...argh.

I'm jealous, you have about 2 more weeks left, I've still got 4! Oh yeah and I'm also tired of people telling me about I'm about to deliver soon b/c of the way my belly is hanging. Great thanks sounds like my first pregnancy, except I was 4 days late...

I feel ya! I did that dehydration thing a few months ago. Scary.

and I was worried about my place, but I called in the troops! My mommy came and cleaned and re-organized, my sis cooked, and bro-in law entertained little guy. Im at the point where Im feeling this is as good as its gonna get!

Can your mommy come help? Shoot borrow someone elses' mommy if she cant! Lol.

Hahaha nikki - wish my sister was the helpful type.
My mom would help me....my family is actually coming to visit tomorrow, but little dd is sick with an energy zapping fever that I have to keep treating every 4 hours - otherwise she's a sack of potatoes drooling on herself looking miserable.
Sigh.

My husband and I had a nice talk tonite about what I want out of this birth.
I want to move around as I please, I will remove those fetal monitors if I feel like regardless of what the nurses will probably tell me, and I do NOT want to be induced or given an epidural or told not to eat for hours and hours. DH is totally on my side and we even plan on bringing in snacks to the hospital! We laughed about how funny it would be if they caught me sitting in my bed eating a lasagna during my labor.
