Sophia - My DH is getting a construction science degree. He's been building homes since he was 15 but thought a degree would give him a chance to work commercial (more $) if he wanted to, and with the housing market the way it is, he made a good choice! I cannot believe you made it through school with little kids! What did you major in?

Leah - I'm sorry you hate lawton so much... never been there... but i do like Tulsa, although Norman is just fine with me for now. Here's to hoping you get to move closer to your family soon!

That's funny, I dislike Tulsa quite a bit!
We moved here nearly 4 yrs ago from Wichita. I didn't want to move here at all but dh had a major career change. He didn't want to move either but he did want the job so this is what we did. It's been a major change in my life and I'm still not adjusted. (just don't handle any sorts of change well unfortunately)

I majored in Meteorology but got my degree in Geography. Geography is what I wanted to do anyway!

I got through it by not asking how and just doing. I wouldn't get anywhere if I dwelled on it.

Hi! I live in Stillwater. I am a graduate student at OSU, and I am doing my dissertation on cloth diapering. It's great to so many people CD'ing in Oklahoma. I am up for any get together's/ swap meets.

I just noticed this thread(I haven't been on in a while). I'm in Skiatook, north of Tulsa. Two girls, 8 &7, and a boy that is 16 months.

Re: Oklahoma Mamas, check in here!!

Hi all, I'm new to CD & this site. I'm a SAHM to 3, 1 boy (4.5 y/o), and two girls (2.5 y/o, and 3 months). I'm in Enid, OK. So far, I've met absolutely no other CD mommas in my area. Everyone I've spoken with thinks cloth diapering means prefolds and pins, too much work, too much detergent, no thank you ma'am. I just got the first of my CD order in on Wednesday afternoon, and am loving it so far!

I think a swap meet or just a play date in general would be fun. Although Tulsa would be too far for us to drive. We live in Norman so if there are any Norman momma's or close by we could meet up somewhere. I know nobody who cd.
