I like Seelya, I have loved Seely for a long time (DH thought a LO would get made fun of for that - cause of the mattress - HA)

Re: North Dakota Mommas?

No birthing centers or anything and homebirth midwives aren't exactly "legal" in ND. (which I think is stupid!)
That being said, if we ever have another baby, we'll be planning on a homebirth with a midwife. (hopefully a water birth)

My DD was 100% natural even though we were in the hospital. My Dr. is so awsome and supportive, we even declined all monitoring except for the first few minutes when we got there and everyone was just fine with that.
I had a awsome nurse who did anything I needed, but left me alone. KWIM? lol.

I know the girls in the ND thread over at mothering.com are really helpfull.

I know what you mean. I would be looking at names and trying to figure out if I can put a y in it and was starting to come up with some ridicoulous names.

Re: North Dakota Mommas?

Jaci, yesterday when I was browsing DS I clicked on a diva cup thread, Kevin was reading over my shoulder and I scrolled down and ended up finding your post. He was real impressed by the thread to begin with but he expecially enjoyed your post about wiping to relax Of course he is a guy who doesn't understand anything about a woman, nor does he even attepmt. I told him that was a relativly mild TMI thread and he should consider himself lucky. He just muttered something about my hippie friends.

that is effing hilarious. I so cannot show my face at your house anymore...then again he did stick around while Brittany and I were all chatting about boobs and nursing and stuff.

Chris is a little squeamish about the Diva Cup too, he is a more "don't ask and she won't tell" kind of guy

yeah, he brought it up again last night while we were getting ready for bed. He told me I should try wiping next time I am giving birth to see if it will help things relax down there. I told him he was a big stupid dork

I totally think the dork read it wrong too. I didn't say wiping helped relax things down there. I said peeing first helped relax things down there. Nothing to do with wiping.
