New to Southern Indiana

Hello! My husband & I recently relocated to the Bloomington, IN area from Colorado and are expecting our first baby in November. I've been attempting to research birthing centers but am coming up empty. Any info in regards to birthing centers and/or midwives in the area.

Welcome! Bloomington is a great place to live. Have you checked out BABS? They may have the info you need. I gave birth at the hospital so I don't have any personal experience/referrals for midwives.

I don't know of any midwives who practice in hospitals in the area currently. There are several homebirth midwives though, if you're interested in that. If you are, PM me and I can send you the info for the 2 I work with regularly.
