Probably not, we are in the middle of the Mojave. Literally. We are about 40 miles from Barstow.

I am glad this got bumped I am new to this board but am a CD'er in Lancaster I also travel to Apple Valley often since my family lives there.

No worries. Obviously I still watch the thread hoping people will pop up . I don't always get the alerts when people post, but I try to respond. It's a bummer you don't live closer.

I am part of a meetup group so that I can get together with other moms and let the kids make friends. Mine is located mainly in Victorville and Hesperia, but I am sure there are groups in the Lancaster area and Barstow area.
