Re: Sacramento Area/Roseville CD mommas

Coming down with a sore throat. I'll stay home for awhile, rather than put other people & their babies at risk of something contagious.

Be careful out there. The RSV virus is at an all time high this time of year, and it's very dangerous.

One of my husband's friends is a doctor in the ER at Sutter General, and has been admitting babies to the hospital because they've had it.

One of this guy's neighbors has a 2 month old that caught it, and she was in the hospital over 2 weeks and had to be hooked up to oxygen for awhile, and will now have to live with permanent lung damage as a result of coming down with this virus---which she caught because her parents had a Christmas party & everyone was breathing on the baby, and someone in the crowd had the virus.

So, just in case, I'm staying away from everyone, especially those with children. So far, all I have is a sore throat, but I'm not taking any chances.

I noticed that "The business of being born" will be playing at the Imax on March 13. Anyone here plan on going?

Yeah, I don't think there are any CD stores here. When I was pregnant, I looked, but wound up just buying everything online due to the lack of actual CD stores.

I'd like to, it's just kind of tricky right now. The baby is 5 weeks old & we're still trying to figure out how to shower, dress, and leave the house in a single day! LOL! I don't remember it being THIS tricky when my 15 year old was a baby.
