1 scoop in my wetbag and then dump into a cold wash with no spin and soak. Add one more scoop and wash on the sanitary cycle with a pre-wash, stain cycle and extra rinse. Sun to dry if possible.

I have FBs. I do a 15 min soak in cold (no soap), 30 min. if lots of dirties. Then I use 1/3 to 1/2 oz allens naturally detergent. Wash on hot/cold with extra rince. I wash every night. I dry 70-90 min on low heat. HTH!!

I was using sun, but ive just switched to TIDE (powder) I use 1/4 cup, if even. Rinse in cold ( no soap) hot water wash with TIDE, extra rinse. I put 1 scoop of Oxi clean baby in every 4th time or so I wash. I hang mine to dry usually.

Re: what detergent do you use for dipes?

Recent Charlie's Soap convert here. I have hemp fitteds, fleece covers, and bumGenius pockets. If there are lots of dirties, I do a cold prewash without soap, maybe a 15-30 minute soak if it's really bad. Then a warm wash with a tablespoon of Charlie's, followed by two cold rinses, one with a cup of vinegar if needed. For the occasional persistent stink in my pocket dipes I run a hot cycle with a scoop of oxy clean. Then the pockets get hung up and the rest goes in the dryer on medium for 60 minutes. I put anything stained in the sun to dry. I am diapering three kids and wash daily.

HTH!

I run a cold wash/rinse with just baking soda as my "soak". Then I use 1 tbs of Allen's and some vinegar in the fabric softener dispenser and do a hot wash/cold rinse. Then into the dryer on high for my longest cycle + a 30-40 minute cycle if I have a lot of thick AIOs and fitteds in there.

my wash cycle is

-cold rinse
-wash in cold w/allens (add vinegear if needed)
-wash again in HOT w/allens
-another rinse (add in TTO or lavender)
-if i have bubbles in that rinse i do ANOTHER wash w/no detergent!
