Re: Any tips on trying for boy?

boy sperm are faster, but die off faster. girl sperm are slower, but live longer. that is why bd farther away from ovulation will most likey get you a girl.

Re: Any tips on trying for boy?

I have the book "How to choose the sex of your baby" which is the Shettles Method. I have two girls and TTC #3 too! We were shooting for a boy. Most of these mamas pointed out tips that are in this book. It's very interesting. You can usually grab this book used off Amazon or a local bookstore. The book talks about position, how to use OPK's with trying, ph balance.....very interesting.

My midwife told me the shettles method is good too....

I think it just has to do with what DH happens to put in there for ya, KWIM? You can try some of that stuff, it's worth it to try. It also just may be your turn for a boy... without needing to try anything.

I think that proves God's still in control!!!!

So maybe we arent "old fasioned" when it comes to TTC....Its what you said......I honestly think I could go the rest of my life and never have sex again Because with how fertile we are together unless I am PG we are risking pregnancy!

I pray over everything! The Lord knows what I want, He knew the second time I got PG with DD, and He and I both know, that whatever I have, I will love them. It is fun to "try" though. Science is not a certainty, but a tool that we have been given. I plan to use all the tools I can get!

Well said! I also have two beautiful girls and would welcome another, but we will try for a boy for our next. I also found a message board that had some interesting info on trying to conceive a certain sex. Good luck!
