Serger Class?
I've been so blessed to now have a serger! YAY! But I have no idea what I'm doing with it. I'm cozy with sewing with my old trusty machine, but this thing....FOUR THINGS OF THREAD!?
It's scary!!I'm thinking about signing up for a class. Any recommendations? Is there any projects that I could do to learn more? Is there a book you recommend? Can I think of anymore questions to ask you?

Re: Serger Class?
Check w/ your local sewing shop. They should offer beginner classes. Did you get your serger at a sewing shop? If so, they probably offer a complimentary class.
The threading part, IMO, is easy vs. the serging part!!!! I made a TON of wipes -- make large ones w/ rounded corners. It's great corner practice!!! Loree |

Re: Serger Class?
I got my serger off craigslist.com (from an individual). I live near Atlanta, so I'm sure I'll be able to find something.....I'll start looking now.
Thanks! I'll start practicing. The corners are SCARY! Well...the entire thing is scary. It's like a MONSTER SEWING thing. Okay...I'm running in fear again. I'll let you know how it goes.
