no baby yet, a little exausted!

Wow, sorry mamma(s) who have to go overdue. I can't really imagine since I am never allowed to go over (diabetic). You could come and clean my house? -21? Wow, I think it was 80 here today! I wouldn't want to come out if it was that cold! I guess he/she just wants to kick around in the hot tub a little longer. I hope the baby comes soon though, I know what it is like to be anxious to meet your little someone!

awe thanks mamas! I know that baby will come when its good and ready, but the wait is still hard knowing that I am due and it could come at any time. Maybe I am just not so great at the unknown kinda thing. I would rather know When its coming... even late.
Dh and I have decided not to do anything to help it come, except for the deed (his idea of course lol) but no stripping of membrains or other induction methods. I have a non stress test on Friday and if baby is healthy and happy, then it shall remain until its ready.
Unless the baby is un happy then we will just have to wait.
I would really like to know what it is though.
My contractions have been pretty hard again tonight and about 10 min apart for a few hrs.... are they going to peter out again? don't want to get my hopes up either.

More Labor Dust

I'm not even overdue and i'm tired....I'm due this Monday and have been waiting for this baby to pop ever since they told me I was dilating!!!!!

I hope that your baby will come soon...I have had ALOT of contractions too...some pretty strong ones for hours, coming every 10 minutes or less...then they die out. AHHHH! I think that is what's driving me crazy...it's not like I'm just sitting around pregnant...I have had contractions almost my whole pregnancy and it's getting tiring. I totally understand. Hopefully all the practice your uterus is doing will make it a quick labor! That's what I'm hoping for!

Well, Im still pregnant. I had 2 hrs of really hard labor this morning waking me up at 4:00 am and every 5-7 min. they were hard but very fast (about 30 sec) I got up eventually and did a few things around the house and packed a few things as they were getting harder. Then around 6:00 am, they stopped. I have only had a few since then and very frusterated that I would even be tricked like that at 5 days over due. I really thought for sure I was going in. I guess its not time yet. I even kept dh home this morning, and had to send him to work late, when the contractions stopped. I don't know who is more tired of false labor... him or me lol.

I don't mind going over, but the false labor is killing me. I am probibly going to go into real labor and think its false again and have an unplanned home birth.
anyhow enough whining on my part... at least its coming soon!

You could do some chicken recipes - you know make up marinades you like and dump into a freezer bag w/ chicken breasts & freeze. The day before you want to use them, put em in the fridge and then they marinate while defrosting and then bake. You know like honey/mustard, soy sauce/honey, BBQ, etc - whatever your family likes.

Exactly...I hate false labor...drives you crazy!!!!!!! COME OUT BABY!!!
