I feel lonely on this side of the state, lol! My IL's live in Mitchell/Dell Rapids/Groton/and soon SF so I do get over there at lease once a year.

could have i went to ONE meeting and felt out of place so i never went back..i always had to pump for dd and looking around at all the moms breast feeding i just felt like the odd one out..and now we are done pumping and have been for sometime..i just didn't think it was the place for me..i SO need to meet more moms though! i like the few moms i did talk to there, are you in any play groups or other meetings? i am trying to be as green as i can be.. would love to talk to other moms about that kind of stuff

I am not in any other "groups" like SDNMs--I too feel out of place, tho' for different reasons (I am not into unschooling/consensual living, which seemed to me to be the norm for that group). We are homeschoolers, so we belong to one of the HSing groups in SF--but that's not what you're talking about, I don't think. However, I am also trying to be as green as I can manage (and afford!) to be, and would love to chat with other moms IRL who take that seriously. Maybe we could get together sometime? I was serious, we need to have a Sioux Falls DS/CDing get-together!

This is Elegant Mommy from the store! Sorry I forgot to check back on this post & things are a little crazy with the newest one having some bf'ing issues.

We do carry cloth diapers at Elegant Mommy now & are planning more workshops. Tentatively we are doing a baby wearing workshop at the end of July and another cloth diaper workshop in August.

Out of curiousity, what are some of the cloth diapering brands and/or accessories that you would most like to see us carry? I am fairly new to cloth diapering myself and would love to get input from more people as to what brands/accessories they just can't live without!
