I've got the baby bug again!

I started getting the baby bug when ds was...2 WEEKS OLD. No lie. I'm pretty sure it's because dh & I were discussing a vasectomy (which we ultimately decided against).

Now ds is 3 months, but I've still got the fevah.

I think it hit me earlier with each kid! After #1 I was ready when she was 18mos, was pg when she was 21mos. With #2 it was 18mos again but we had to wait (and convince dh too). Was pg several times in there but didnt have #3 until she was almost 4. THis time, I was seriously contemplating ttc before dd was even 12mos!! Sometimes its REALLY bad, but dh isnt ready right now BUT he did just get a teaching job so its in our not as distant possible future now instead of "ask when we win the lottery"

I don't know if the baby bug ever really goes away. I'd so love to have one more, but I know I can't, I'm too old and we had to do extensive fertility treatments to have our two. It's so hard to put away the baby things, knowing that part of our lives is over.... I haven't been able to sell it yet. My dh goes back and forth. I think it's one of those things that is just hard to not do again and again. They are just so precious and sweet. Newborn diapers look adoreable to me. Guess I'll just have to live through all the young Moms here and enjoy their sweet ones.

Oh my goodness! So many mommas with lots of little ones running around to love! Our ds is 17 months and I am definitely wanting another one, or two, or five My husband says max two, but I would just love to have a big family.

I was ready to get pregnant again the day I gave birth to Xander. Honestly. It was such a great expirence, I couldn't wait to be pregnant and go through labor again.

DH says not for another 2 years. I'm going to beg at plead when DS is 18 m/o, since it took us 6 months of trying to have DS.

Thanks ladies, for helping me not feel so alien! I just got off the phone with our agency, we are officially back on the list for babies!

Its not like it will happen tomarow, probably not for many many months. It was two years before we got Amira. But at least we have reminded them we are interested, and who knows when our new child will need us!

I was ready to do it all again a few hours after DS was born, too... call me crazy, but the bug is still here and he's 4mths now. We plan to ttc #2 in january...

it doesnt ever take me long to get the baby bug
my son was 3 months old when we got pregnant with dd
i told myself that i was going to wait until she was at least a year old before trying, well i made it to 6 months before we started trying and when she was 9 months we got pregnant.
