Annie's Celiac Biopsy

I so glad the procedure went well. We just got back from seeing a G.I specialist. If you don't mind me asking what kind of procedure did Annie have? Our specialist thinks my dd may have celiac and wants to do an upper endoscopy. I'm so freaked out about her being under.

we had an endoscopy and colonoscopy. The anesesia wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. I am glad we did the est and got it over with tho! Please PM me if you ever want to talk i also have IM just check out my profile.

My DH has celiac and I really hope that my kids don't end up with it. My DH was 23 when he was diagnosed and 10% of his immediate family should have it as well. Does it run in your family somewhere? I really hope your DD doesn't have it.

My Dh probably has it. His mother has it as well (confirmed).
There was a recent study that said fathers are more likely to pass the gene to daughters than sons--dont know why but sound like an interesting theory as my ds hasnt had one sign where dd has been symptomatic most of her life!
