my first quilt *in progress*

Here is the plan:


Here is what I have done:

I had ALL the pieces cut for the center. I do not have the binding cut yet, but that shouldn't be too difficult.

I had all the pinwheel pieces cut, and separated by fours into baggies




And tonight i finished all 42 pinwheel units!



Tomorrow after church I have to get a fabric marker and start on the "flying geese" units. I love feedback

Good job! I'm a quilter myself...and a scrap quilter at that! Gave away a quilt today to a newborn baby...about an hour after she was born...she was 3 weeks early, supposed to have a baby shower today, but had a baby, instead!

I am teaching myself. If you can operate a sewing machine, I'm sure you could piece a top together. I will probably have mine long arm quilted somewhere, if it tuns out worthy enough
