I need an all body diaper! ;-)

I took Serena to the allergist again today and he was surprised to see that out of her entire skin surface, the only smooth and rash free area was her bottom! Wherever the cloth touched, it was nice and clear. He said it's too bad she couldn't wear the diaper over her entire body, LOL!

Yay for cloth and wool!

(BTW, she was wearing a NB mutt and a NB loveybums wool cover. You could see he was surprised when he tried to take a peek!)

Down side - she's still miserable and itchy. I've been off dairy for 3 weeks now.

Well, we already know she's allergic to dairy, eggs and wheat ... but she's not getting better even though I'm avoiding them. Laundry soap is fine (we use the same stuff as the diaper wash) no soap during baths, etc ...

At least there is a small spot of nice smooth skin on her. Hopefully that will spread soon!

If you ever try to add dairy again you should try raw milk www.rawmilk.org
Just a thought.

That sucks on the allergies

Awww, I hope everything heals like her bottom. Here's a homeopathic cream for eczema I found that is made from an Indian herb that you can get at some health food stores: http://www.bytheplanet.com/MoreInfo/...pPass=Boericke

Re: I need an all body diaper! ;-)

this might sound crazy, but since her bum is fine, andd the rest of her skin is not, this sounds more like a CONTACT allergy to me......it makes no sense that something she is ingesting would cause a rash over her whole body but not her bum area...could it be a allergy to polyester? does she wear polyester? Does she wear those "fire-retardant" sleepers...some kids are VERY allergic to the chemicals they put on those......
Have you tried dressing her in all cotton clothes (organic cotton if possible)???

It might sound crazy, but i just had a client last week whose baby was allergic to her clothes......
I don't know much about Mutts, but what are they made of? What exactly is touching her bottom? Is it cotton? flannel? fleece? hemp? You seemed to make a joke out of the whole "too bad she can't wear the diaper over her whole body" concept...but how about trying it? Not an actual diaper, of course, but whatever the diaper is made out of?

Just a thought!! Sorry if this is something you've already tried...
