Stroganoff without Cr of Mushroom soup?

I'm going to do a london broil in the crockpot tomorrow and want to make beef stroganoff. But I don't have any cream of mushroom soup---what can I put on instead and let it cook all day and still get the creaminess. I do have sour cream but think it would curdle. Suggestions?

Do you have any lipton onion soup mix? I like to use it in the crockpot when I make roasts. It wouldn't make it creamy but it would give it seasoning. You could always add the sour cream after you are done cooking it

I just take it off the heat and add the sour cream at the end....I LOOOVE stroganoff. I think I'll have to make some this week...yum.
