Is bamboo velour stay dry?

Like the stuff groodmamas are made of...does that work the same way as fleece in a pocket diaper or polyester velour and draw moisture away from babies skin?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Is bamboo velour stay dry?

Nope. But it's still a really good diaper inner.

No, it's absorbant, not stay dry. MicroFleece is stay dry because it wicks the moisture away, and suedecloth which acts like a wicking material because it distributes the moisture.

Re: Is bamboo velour stay dry?

I was wondering the same thing. So, are microfleece and suedecloth the only stay dry inners?

I've noticed some pockets with velour inners and some with minky inners? That sounds so soft, but will it not keep baby's skin dry?

Re: Is bamboo velour stay dry?

It isn't staydry, but it is far more staydry than most materials because it is so absorbent. Since it holds so much moisture, it really doesn't feel very wet against the baby's skin. Did that make any sense?

MF and SC are the only 2 to my knowledge.

a pocket with a velour inner would not be staydry -- you usually only see that in pocket fitteds, but maybe someone else is making them. Minkee is polyester, and it will wick the moisture through and be staydry like mf and suedecloth.
